Yesterday I took my son to the Spyderwick Chronicles and we had a great time. I made a point of going to the earliest showing at our new theater and it was great because only six other people were in the theater with us. The Monaco is the first of its chain and is very different from the standard theaters. They allow you to pick your seats when you buy your ticket and they offer VIP seating in some of their theaters for a little extra. The restaurant/bar looks really nice too. The only complaint I would have is that the popcorn I bought was a little on the cool side. I wanted to ask "How early did you people pop this stuff?" Having worked in the movie theater business before I know it wasn't Friday nights, but it could have been warmer. They just opened for the day.
I feel like I've been working a lot of overtime lately, Oh wait, I have. I think my bosses may kill me before I settle into my new position. (silence) Did you say new position? Yep, guys I got a promotion at work. I am now a supervisor. The only problem is my training isn't complete and the trainees who keep getting stuck with me can't really do anything. It's pretty annoying. Not just for them but for me too. Other than that I'm still in kind of a disbelieving shock that I got this position. Some parts of it I know, but other things I am still stumbling through. Pray for me!
What else, Oh yeah! I've been sick. I have a really bad cold that I think has turned into bronchitis. I was supposed to go to the Dr. on Friday, but had to cancel the appt. because of my work. I couldn't leave. I was not thrilled about this. I hope I haven't shared this stuff with anyone because I was miserable. I don't think I want a bunch of pissed off co-workers and customers because I made them sick.

I'm sorry you're sick. It seems like there's been alot of sickness going around this winter. Spring can't come too soon this year! Hope you feel better soon.

Siren: I didn't get the flu, but I do have bronchitis. I went to the urgent care clinic tonight because I couldn't leave work to see my Dr. The Dr started to say something about how I should have seen my regular Dr, but she stopped herself when I told why I hadn't. I also learned if you are a drug addict and make a big fuss at the pharmacy they will fill your prescription faster. I wound up waiting an hour thanks to them.
Yay for drug addicts ... oh wait, that's bad, right? Heheh ... just kidding!
I hope you're feeling better sooooon. Relax and let those little meds kick in and do their bidness witchya.
