I took my son to see Narnia yesterday. It was excellent. My son really enjoyed it he said his favorite part was the battle scene. I wasn't surprised because he loves action. I actually expected to have trouble buying tickets, but they are showing it on so many screens that our theater didn't come close to selling out. He likes to sit up high in the back and got irritated when I made him sit on the second to last row instead of the one on the very top. I had to explain that people were already sitting there. It was funny. When we stood in line for the popcorn he kept spinning around and I kept reminding him to stand still or he was going to run into someone. ADHD kid off his meds is very energetic. I got him some caffiene. That helped calm him a little. Yea! He sort of bounces off the walls when he gets excited.
Off subject but funny to me. Twenty years ago I used to work at a local movie theater and my old boss left the business to sell cars. He apparently returned to the movie theater recently. He was working in the concession stand with his employees and saw me. I thought he was going to freak. He disappeared right before I got to the counter. Nothing like seeing him sprint away in fear I would embarrass him in front of all those teenagers. LOL. Can you tell I can be mean sometimes. I didn't say a word to the girl at the counter, but next time he won't get off so easily. He was probably afraid I would give away his age. He doesn't like to be reminded he is getting older.
Well after the movie we hit McD's (Narnia toys) and then went shopping for a Christmas gift for my husband from the kids. My son kept trying to convince me his dad would like the movie Kangroo Jack. We got Monty Python instead. After that we trucked it through mall traffic to Popeye's to get Dad some dinner they were busy. I had no idea that restaurant did that kind of business. Their drive thru line stretched out onto the road. It was good to spend some one on one time with my son.

People run away when they see me coming all the time...
